EchoFind is currently an experimental iPhone and iPad app.
Search returns no results
Try a broader everyday description such as “people talking,” “baby crying,” “dog barking,” “music,” or “rain.” EchoFind maps natural wording to the fixed sound categories available in Apple's on-device classifier.
Photos indexing paused
Keep the device charging and avoid force-quitting EchoFind. iOS chooses when background indexing runs and may interrupt it. EchoFind saves its progress and resumes later.
A voice was not recognised
Add several clear 5–10 second samples for that person. Use natural speech with little background noise. Very short, distant, overlapping, or heavily compressed speech can remain “Unknown.”
Privacy and deletion
Open EchoFind's privacy screen to delete the Photos index, stored media, or family voice profiles. These actions do not delete original items from Photos or Files. Read the full privacy declaration.
